Fun on Tuesday Nights

So every tuesday night, the best of MATH 35000H (NOT A TYPO...keep reading), get together and finish up/START the weeks homework. This process usually begins around 8:00PM and has been known to continue until 4:30AM. Needless to say we have become really really close with one another. Anyway, tonight as we were working we began discussing upper level classes and we decided that if this class is a representation of the 3000+ level courses, then we should just drop out now. Our conclusion has been presented in an e-mail to the professor which I have reproduced below! OH MATH!!! :D

Hey Dr. Shifrin!

What does your schedule look like for Thursday of this week to sit down and talk about life, specifically if I should take MATH 35100 (why yes I do mean 35100H, and I did not mistakenly add an extra 0 to the end. We have made an executive decision that 3500H does not accurately describe the level of sophistication and rigor necessitated by this course.  So from this point on, we shall refer to your class as MATH 35000H & 35100H. We would greatly appreciate if you could speak to the Bursars Office and make this executive decision official with the University. We feel this change would more aptly allow us to adhere to the University's platitude: "Et docere et rerum exquirere causas" ). THANKS!
